In 2006, Shell started its Commercial Fuels business in Indonesia: we provide bulk fuels and related technical support to the Industrial and Transport Sector. Shell Indonesia is also planning to establish a significant presence in the upstream sector.

Category Manager Fuels
Purpose:
An exciting role in the fast growing Retail organization of Indonesia. The role entails the localization and delivery of the marketing agenda in close cooperation with regional and global marketing, local sales, support functions. Develop and oversee the implementation of fuels Marketing activities for the market unit. The role provides outstanding development opportunities and combines hands-on delivery of marketing plans, to market and competitor analyses and (regional) project work in the areas of network development, pricing, customer satisfaction and customer retention and acquisition. Role spans all areas of marketing from promotion to pricing to place to product.
Accountabilities :
• Accountable for Shell Fuels brand ( main and premium grade) and deliver competitive marketing plans to support the volume and profit targets.
• Deliver customer centric value propositions
• Collaborate with functions such as Trading & Supply, Retailers, Sales & Operations team to deliver superior onsite integration
• Work closely with focals from Convenience Retailing, Lubricants, Payment & Loyalty to ensure integration of CVP
• Develop key marketing priorities that support the delivery of the multi year planning and annual business target setting.
• Develop and execute the Fuels Portfolio Progression Plan, taking into account government mandates for fuels specifications, emission and effluent standards, as well as changes in customer and OEM engine technology developments. In conjunction with the global Fuels Marketing team and for ensuring that key local stakeholders (eg Trading & Supply) are aligned with the plan
• Develop and monitor execution of fuels launches and revitalization projects. Act as project team leader securing necessary support from key stakeholders such us Trading & Supply, Sales & Ops, Network, etc.
• Key focal point for Operations Support Team (OST) and for ensuring that all marketing initiatives are implemented in a way that maximizes operational effectiveness once implemented on site, and is effectively integrated with Sales.
• Work closely with global teams and keep a healthy challenge and support process going to leverage on each other’s strengths and inputs; share and apply learning and best practices with global teams.
• Continuously monitor implementation of plans, ensure that plan timeline/cost limitations are met, provide update and be willing to intervene on plan performance, and resolve under-performance when necessary.
• Develop and implement clear action plans to address fuels volume/profitability/costs gap vs target.
• Accountable for Performance review and ensure timely completion with reflections/learning shared for continuous improvement.
• Act as lead from Fuels Marketing to coordinate with S&OP/EFT teams to ensure appropriate supply and distribution of product in the market.
Experience and Qualifications Required :
• University degree with business and/or marketing
• Minimum 10 years of experience in Brand Management, Marketing Communications,
• Strategic Marketing in FMCG or multinationals environment preferred
• Strong leadership and communications skills
• Self-motivated and results oriented; ability to work with a broad range of stakeholders
• Good spoken and written English.
• Sound competences in analyzing marketing insights for consumer, customer, category and competitors
Lubricant Supply Chain Operation Manager
Purpose:
Lead integration, optimization and management of all Shell Lubricants Supply Chain (LSC) activities and business processes of the country organization. Lead all Supply Chain activities in the country taking full accountability for the performance of LSC in all aspects of performance (covering plant operations, logistics, planning, Health, Safety, Security, the Environment (HSSE) and Social Performance (SP), end-to-end Quality and SAP IT business processes). Maximize enterprise value by effective business partnerships with Sales & Marketing across the country. Also responsible for cost effective achievement of customer needs and high standards of performance in each area of the country’s supply chain activities through implementation of regional strategies.
Accountabilities:
• Leads and has direct line responsibility for country LSC activities in meeting objectives for HSSE and SP responsibility, customer focus, efficiency and effectiveness.
• Works with regional Planning organization to operationalize agreed supply plans that meet customer demand at lowest possible cost.
• Works with regional teams and Cluster Operations Manager to develop & implement medium and short term strategic plans with respect to the supply chain management process, size and configuration of supply chain facilities, asset base, sourcing strategy, organization structure, and staffing. This includes plans to meet material handling and technology applications, production, end-to-end quality, inbound & outbound logistics process improvement targets and end-to-end operational excellence.
• Manages LSC relationship with external bodies such as government and local authorities as necessary.
• Challenges current business practices, methodology and procedures through the application of Continuous Improvement and best practice techniques and knowledge.
• Develops, manages and motivates staff to ensure that the required competencies are in place to meet current and future business needs, championing a learning culture in the region. Ensure all managers have required technical excellence to carry out their role, and ensure suitable succession plans are in place.
• The incumbent will be joining the Global Commercial Lubricants organization at a critical time for the business - implementing new LSC processes and managing significant change in Lubricants Supply Chain in its journey to world-class operations.
• Deliver incisive and motivating leadership to the lubricants team within the region and ensure effective lubricants supply chain networking in the community.
• A key challenge of the role will be to ensure, sustain and further develop alignment of the local operations with global initiatives and to secure high standard of performances, best practice sharing and joint initiatives across country and regional operations boundaries
Experience and Qualifications Required :
• At least 10-15 years Supply Chain operations experience leading large teams
• Strong track record in delivering change in large/complex organization
• Lubricants Business experience, preferably in Supply Chain
• Supply, Logistics, Manufacturing and Commercial experience useful.
• Successful experience in leading diverse and cross-functional teams, in virtual environment
• Minimum university degree. Preferably in a technical discipline.
• Fluent in English , Written and Speaking
PRODUCTION MANAGER
Purpose:
• This job is responsible for managing the Lubes blending and filling operations, including receipt and management of bulk raw materials and finished products
• To blend and fill lubricants in strict accordance with the Shell Lubricants Quality System requirements cost efficiently and within HSSE standards.
• Coordinate with local-based functional team and internal stakeholders to ensure the smooth daily operation of the plant
• The role would suit a highly capable individual with operational management experience, seeking a challenging role in a dynamic environment, associated with one of the core and growing DS businesses.
Accountabilities:
• To carry out blending and filling activity in compliance to the Lubricants Quality System ( LQS), HSSE requirements of the Group and the specific requirements of Customers.
• Is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of plant and equipment. Ensures that Company and appropriate Legislative standards of safe working practices, occupational hygiene, and environmental performance are applied.
• Sets and reviews daily/routine targets for the operating team based on laid down objectives.
• Reviews daily schedule of both filling and blending to ensure both are in-line with each other and execution as per plan
• Sets and reviews tank allocation for bulk product receiving
• Coordinates with the laboratory operations to ensure proper sequence of production. Quality issues are investigated and appropriate Preventive measures are in place. To coordinate maintenance related to blending and filling without affecting production. Participates in the maintenance scheduling and provides key operations input to plant maintenance plans and activities
• Assists the Plant Manager in developing plant operating procedures covering normal and emergency situations while himself/herself develops the work instructions
• Responsible in the receiving of bulk raw materials by massive means or through other bulk means. This includes investigation where significant variances during bulk receiving.
• Assists/prepares the operating budget then operates within them.
• Ensures that all subordinates are appropriately trained
• Prepares and submits monthly production performance report
• Acts as Project Manager for cost saving initiatives involving Luboil blending and filling operations
• Acts as Lead investigator for quality or HSSE incident in the Luboil blending and filling operations
• Set clear objectives for subordinates in order to maximize their performance
• Carry out the role of asset holder for LOBP and operations
• Ensure efficient consumption of energy, utilities, and other resources
• Assists the Plant Manager and works with the Plant Performance Analyst with diagnosing/resolving plant failures, operational issues, with cost and performance benchmarking, identifying trends/gaps relative to comparators, and translate these to operational targets and actions.
Experience and Qualifications Required :
• Minimum 5 years and not more than 10 years experience in running a production plant
• Engineer in the field of Chemical, Mechanical or Industrial field
• Technical background in the field of blending or filling operations of Lubricants or other related products
• Should be conversant with computers and product handling
• Has experienced in managing large workforce of about 50 people in a manufacturing plant.
• Has experience in managing unionized workforce.
• Exposure to Quality Systems and GSAP is an advantage
Key Account Manager
Purpose:
• Managing Gold/Platinum class Direct Accounts & Original Engine Manufacturers
• Explore opportunity for Initial fill & after market products for Original Engine Manufacturer market and B2B customers
• Work with Global Stakeholders in achieving Global Key Accounts acquisition
• Develop sales pipeline & Key Account Plans
• Accelerate growth in Power sector, Original Engine Manufacturer market, and key strategic partnerships
Accountabilities:
• Achieve & deliver agreed targeted volume performance, income stream, premium product sales, etc.
• Implement operational excellence behavior (Customer Relationship Management, Sales Pipeline Management, etc.)
• Monitor & execute supply chain forecasting, accounts receivables & Customer Value Propositions.
• Ability to map & manage complex customer stakeholder matrix.
KEY CHALLENGES:
• Understand, execute non-standard supply chain systems & closely monitor it.
• Develop a high-level of customer intimacy at various levels in the organizations of the targeted accounts.
• Championing the focus on premium product sales growth and the execution of the Original Engine Manufacturers /segment/sector Customer Value Propositions both directly and through others.
• Continuously grow the share of wallet of Platinum accounts.
• Ensure successful penetration into Genuine Parts Oil opportunities.
Experience and Qualifications Required :
• Bachelors degree from reputable university
• Good command in English
• Minimum 7 years work experience managing direct customer ( B2B )
• Technical and/or sales background would be an advantage
Indirect Channel Account Manager
Accountabilities:
• Managing 3-4 Go Forward Distributors and develop their business to contribute to overall lubricants growth
• Develop new and increase existing business of distributors to achieve own planned volume, revenue and margin target; to be aligned with country growth aspiration target (sell in, sell out, CPT and DSO target)
• Support RTM Blueprint strategy and plan including distributor pipeline
• Support Pendulum and Marketing strategy/plan including develop local activities
Experience and Qualifications Required :
• Minimum bachelor degree, from reputable university, any major
• Minimum experiences 5 years from FMCG/Managing distributor (Indirect)
• Willing to relocate outside Jakarta (Sumatera Area)
• Have a strong sales management.
• Have a good relationship with local distributor (Sumatera)
• Fluent in English (Oral and written)
• Good analytical thinking
