Job Description
NES Global Talent is a leading global technical recruitment company providing professional contract and permanent staff to a diverse world-wide client base within the Oil & Gas Industry. Our client, a large operator company, has an opportunity for 2-3 Mechanics in the Elk Point, Bonnyville, AB area. The shift will be 8 days on/ 6 days off, 10 hours per day. This is will be a 1-2 year long contract starting ASAPResponsibilities:
- Assigned an area comprising 250 to 300 wells
- Responsible to maintain engines, well head drives, and compressors.
- Commission new equipment and perform field repairs at the direction of approximately 6-8 operators.
- Provide ¾ ton truck with a service body
- Knowledge of 350 chevy engines and compression mechanics are considered an asset
- Hydraulic knowledge and a mechanic certification are required.
- Mechanics with natural gas experience are preferred.
