RECRUITMENT OMAN REFINERY AND PETROCHEMICAL (ORPIC) for CONTROL SYSTEM ENGINEERS

Oman Refinery and Petrochemical (ORPIC - www.orpic.om) is seeking candidates within Control System Engineering, for the following positions :

SR ENG CONTROL SYSTEM (NETWORK & SYSTEM INFRASTRUCTURE)
Qualification
- Sound knowledge of Industrial Automation and Control Systems advanced platforms and solutions.
- Sound knowledge of network specific integrated Process Control Domain or OT domain.
- CCIE R&S and ITIL V3 certification
- Hands-on experience on control systems network infrastructure integration (Level 2 through L3.5 including integration with L4) and maintenance, including network and associated assets monitoring platforms.
- Sound knowledge and experience in implementing advanced solutions in IACS environment including industrial automation cyber security deployment in compliance with ISA99/IEC62443 standards.
- Sound experience and hands-on capability of handling large and complex control systems networks including L1, L2, L3, distribution, core switches, Routers, Firewalls, IPS, virtual switches, etc.
- Sound knowledge and experience in advanced level network integration with DCS, PLC, ESD & FGS controls platforms (skills in programming on DCS, PLC, ESD and FGS controllers is not needed).
-Experience on deployment of wireless access point infrastructure in control systems environment will be an added advantage.


SR ENG CONTROL SYSTEM (SYSTEM & VIRTUALIZATION) Qualification
-Sound knowledge of Industrial Automation and Control Systems advanced platforms and solutions (skills in programming on DCS, PLC, ESD and FGS controllers is not needed).
-Sound knowledge and hands-on experience on control systems servers, station computers of different makes, primarily Dell & HP and upgrade projects
-Hands-on experience on control systems infrastructure virtualization on VMware platform, and capability to maintain such infrastructure.
-Hands-on experience in handling NAS/SAN technologies including Dell EqualLogic storage, Dell Tape Library, etc. deployed in control systems environment or OT domain.
-Experience on SRM and DR solutions deployment for physical and virtual control systems infrastructure.
-Experience on OS and Controls Applications compatibility assessment, server and station image backups including image validation and guaranteed restore success.
-Experience on control systems Server-Client architecture deployment including DC, TS, FTS, AVS, WSUS, etc. with high level of system hardening.
-Experience on supporting industrial automation cyber security deployment in compliance with ISA99/IEC62443 standards.
-Experience on supporting and maintenance of thin client stations using Dell Wyse boxes/extenders will be an added advantage.
