Qatar Petroleum is a state owned petroleum company in Qatar. The company operates all oil and gas activities in Qatar, including exploration, production, refining, transport, and storage.

1. Diving Supervisor

Primary Purpose of the Job
Direct and control all contractor activities in the offshore diving maintenance section to ensure the continued operation and maintenance of all assigned offshore marine assets (subsea sections).

Qualifications / Knowledge / Skills / Experience
• HSE-UK (Health Safety Executive) Offshore Diving Certificate or IMCA (International Marine Contractors Association) Offshore Diving Supervisor Certificate. 
• 10 years relevant experience in Offshore Diving maintenance with at least 5 years in a supervisory position. 
• Proven knowledge of contractor supervision and contract administration. 
• Good English language (oral and written) 
• Report writing skills
• Project management experience. 
• Computer literate in appropriate software

2. Lead Maintenance Engineer – Instrument & Communication

Primary Purpose of the Job
Operate and control production process of assigned facility to ensure functioning within safety and operational standard, to meet customer requirements and maintain high availability of services.

Qualifications / Knowledge / Skills / Experience
• Secondary (12 years) education and 1 year training in process plant operations shall be essential qualifications. 
• Three (3) years technical diploma and relevant short courses in safety will be considered as preferred additional qualifications. For Nationals TPP or equivalent education. 
• Minimum 10 years of experience in large utilities plant with good knowledge in DCS and PLC operations. 
• Good level of spoken and written English. Knowledge of Arabic will be an advantage

3. Lead Maintenance Engineer – Electrical

Primary Purpose of the Job
Operate and control production process of assigned facility to ensure functioning within safety and operational standard, to meet customer requirements and maintain high availability of services.

4. Lead Planning

Primary Purpose of the Job
Direct effective planning and scheduling of inspection and maintenance activities material coordination and service contract to ensure optimized and cost effective solutions are provided for QP’s Industrial Cities critical assets and facilities (e.g.: Common Seawater Facility, Potable Water networks, Desalinated water network. solid and liquid waste management facilities, Infrastructure facilities networks, onshore port facilities to ensure that all planning, material and service contract management are utilizing operation excellence tools, providing full availability and reliability to QP business partners in both Industrial Cities.

Qualifications / Knowledge / Skills / Experience
• BSc in engineering discipline (preferably with a Master’s Degree in Engineering or Business) from an internationally recognized education institution. 
• Minimum 15 years experience in operation & maintenance planning and scheduling and work contracting in major utilities & infrastructure facilities. 
• Excellent written and spoken English with strong negotiation and communication skills. Knowledge of Arabic will be an added advantage. 
• Excellent analytical, project, contract management skills. 
• Proven ability to organize, motivate and supervise multi-discipline teams. 
• Strong computer competency with knowledge of MS Office applications and specialized planning software.

5. Maintenance Engineer – Civil

Primary Purpose of the Job
• B.Sc. Degree in Civil Engineering Discipline from an internationally recognized university preferably with professional membership in a recognized engineering society I institution. 
• 10-12 years of experience in Civil engineering including 6 years experience in the industrial civil maintenance specially Oil and Gas. 
• Exposure to international experience and appreciation of cultural sensitivities. 
• Strong working knowledge of engineering/ technical document control systems, practices
• International Engineering codes / standards and organizational and analytical techniques.

6. Maintenance Engineer - Electrical

Primary Purpose of the Job
• B.Sc. Degree in Electrical Engineering Discipline from an internationally recognized university preferably with professional membership in a recognized engineering society I institution. 
• At least 10- 12 years of experience in Electrical Maintenance, with 6 years of experience within Process I oil and Gas Industry as credit. 
• Exposure to international experience and appreciation of cultural sensitivities. 
• Strong working knowledge of engineering/ technical document control systems, practices international Engineering codes/ standards and organizational and analytical techniques.

7. Operations Supervisor – Waste Management

Primary Purpose of the Job
Reporting to the Head of Utilities & Waste Management, the Senior Engineer (Waste Management) is responsible for the operations of RLC’s waste management facilities and addressing the overall waste management scheme for RLC and its End Users. The incumbent manages the facilities in compliance with all the current environmental laws in the state of Qatar and USEPA regulations O&G Guidelines and other international Treaties to which State of Qatar is signatory.

Qualifications / Knowledge / Skills / Experience
• BSc in Chemical/Environment Engineering or equivalent
• 10-12 years experience in the waste management preferably in an industrial location. 
• Fluency in oral & written English. Good communication skills. Knowledge of Arabic will be an advantage. 
• Computer literate. 
• Familiarity with QMS and EMS. 
• Good knowledge of current Environmental laws. O&G Guidelines and other international Treaties to which State of Qatar is a signatory as well as related international regulations, protocol, treaty and conventions.

8. Sr. Technician Corrossion

Primary Purpose of the Job
Responsible for monitoring the corrosion protection (CP) system and troubleshooting abnormalities in the CP equipment in the assigned plants/facilities (including the cooling water, desalination water, waste-water treatment and other assigned facilities). The incumbent carries out as required testing using the required instruments, tools and equipment and prepares inspection reports with all findings, abnormalities and recommendations.

Qualifications / Knowledge / Skills / Experience
• Diploma in Engineering subject. Further formal studies in metallurgy / chemistry / materials preferred. 
• 5-7 years’ experience in Cathodic Protection in an oil and gas or petrochemical plant. 
• A qualification in CP is a must. (Minimum NACE approved CP -II or equivalent). 
• Familiar with all aspects of Cathodic Protection systems and corrosion monitoring systems. 
• Computer literate in appropriate software, and experience in data analysis and interpretation. 
• Experience in plant & piping surveys, their planning & implementation. 
• Good communication/interpersonal/organizational skills. 
• Good written and spoken English

9. Sr. Foreman – Mechanical

Primary Purpose of the Job
Supervise and co-ordinate, control and manage effectively at site the execution of preventive and corrective activities and contracts of Mechanical Equipment for assigned assets and facilities to ensure high availability and reliability of the utilities and facility systems. Enforce implementation of QP-Corporate Design and Construction regulations, policies and standards.

Qualifications / Knowledge / Skills / Experience
• 3 years mechanical engineering diploma
• 5-7 years of total mechanical trade experience
• Working knowledge of discipline activities (methods, materials, practices and equipment used in the repair and maintenance of associated facilities/equipment).
• Experience in execution of maintenance schedules and support for budgeting and estimating Possession of a valid driver license
• Good PC knowledge of MS Office, maintenance software. 
• Good supervisory, problem-solving and interpersonal skills. 
• KnOY.4edgeof occupational hazards and safety precautions of the work. 
• Ability to assign and supervise workers. 
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationship with superiors employees and contractor staff. 
• Good oral and written English. Knowledge of Arabic will be an advantage

10. Sr. Instrument Engineer

Primary Purpose of the Job
• B.Sc. Engineering from a recognized university. 
• At least 10-12 years experience in a technical services department (preferably engineering) of a reputed chemical, petrochemical or refinery organization. 
• Up-to-date knowledge of latest Operations and Maintenance practices prevailing in Industry. 
• Ability to work for multiple tasks, prioritization of work and strong organizational, time management and self initiative skills.
