Job Description

Control & Instrumentation Mentor will be key positions to support the comprehensive training and competency programs being delivered to ensure readiness to operate the CLIENT production facilities. Key to the position will be to role model HSE excellence. The position will continue to support competency development, recommend and support on-going operational improvements and from time to time undertake direct support to Operations or Maintenance activities.

Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor/Master of Science in Electronics / Instrumentation Engineering.10-20 years of oil and gas operations/maintenance experience.Good understanding of Operability Assurance and Operations Assurance programs.Understanding of the drivers for major capital projects, previous experience on a major capital project is preferred.Has previously worked on a major offshore installation in a leadership role, (Supervisor, Senior Supervisor or OIM)Good understanding of risks and risk management.Fully conversant with training and competency programs.Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.10 + years in a senior leadership role.Trained in Management of Major Emergency (MOME).Ability to influence and resolve conflicts.Proven leadership abilities in a multi-cultural, multinational environment.High level of teamwork and effective collaboration skills.

OFFSHORE INSTALLATION MANAGER (OIM)

Job Description

Manage all offshore production activities and directly supervise the offshore Production and Maintenance Supervisors and Mentors so as to achieve target production goals while adequately maintaining the asset equipment. Liaise daily with the onshore support functions to develop an effective collaborative environment between the offshore work team and the Onshore Operations Centre. Manage any emergency response situations as the Field Incident Commander ensuring appropriate resources are mobilized and notifications made.

Qualifications & Skills

Engineering degree or Engineering Diploma with extensive offshore experience.Onshore or Offshore Supervisory experience preferred either as an OIM or Senior Production Supervisor with previous major project and fabrication site exposure an advantage. These two skill sets are required to manage the Operation Team and assist in preparation for startup of these facilities as fabrication is completed.Minimum 10 years’ experience in Operations, Operations Support, and/or Maintenance role. Candidate must have extensive experience in all types of equipment operations and related maintenance activities. Must be able to work independently, adjust to changing conditions and manage multitasking. Self-motivated with the ability to thrive in a team environment and work with minimal supervision.Must be capable of working in a multi-cultural work environment with a demonstrable ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management, salaried and hourly employees.Must be a good team leader, team member, willing to accept ownership and accountability of job responsibilities but able to delegate activities as appropriate.Must possess strong analytical, communication and technical writing skills.

SENIOR INSTRUMENT TECHNICIAN

Job Description

The senior control and instruments technician is responsible for the safe and efficient implementation of the preventive and corrective maintenance tasks of control and instruments equipment such as safety shutdown system, fire & gas system, DCS, control valves, transmitters, meters, controllers, switches, actuators, junction boxes, regulators, solenoids, control panels, gauges, PSVs, etc.

Qualifications & Skills

The incumbent must at least hold a diploma in electrical and electronic engineering with a minimum of 10 years of working experience as a control and instrument technician in the Oil and Gas industries preferably in an offshore environment.The incumbent must have experience in using the CMMS/SAP to record maintenance tasks and equipment history, execution of PM/CM tasks, overhaul, troubleshooting and basic analysis of equipment failures and supervising a team of C&I technicians (at least 7years experience in supervisory role).Experience in commissioning work is an added advantage. Must be able to communicate in English both orally and written and knowledgeable in the use of PC and known software such as Microsoft WORD, EXCEL and Powerpoint. Must have the experience in maintaining control and instrumentation equipment supporting the oil and gas facilities such as metering skid, DCS, F&G system, safety shutdown system, field   instruments and devices, etc. Must be knowledgeable in safe work practices such as PTW, JHA, safety audits, etc. Must be knowledgeable in referring to control and instruments /metering procedures, manuals, Cause and Effect matrix and P&IDs to carry out maintenance tasks.
