We are urgently in need of Environmental Officer/Engineer to work for the Rapid Project at Johor Bahru, Malaysia.

Contract and Project Duration: 3 Years

Main Responsibilities

Developing and implementing environmental strategies and actions plan that ensure corporate sustainable development.
Taking the lead on sustainable procurement for all good and services.
Coordinating all asper of pollution control, waste management, recycling, environmental health, conservation and renewable energy.
Leading the implementation of environmental policies and practices.
Ensuring compliance of environmental legislation and keeping up to date.
Liaising with relevant bodies such as local authorities, public bodies and competent bodies.
Auditing, analyzing and reporting environmental performance to internal and external clients and regulatory bodies.
Carrying out impact assessments to identify, assess and reduce an organizations environmental risks and financial costs.
Promoting and raising awareness, at all levels of organization, of the impact of emerging environmental issues, whether legislative or best practice, on corporate, ethical and social responsibility.
Developing and implementing environmental management systems to continually improve the impact of the organization on the environment.

Site Manager to be base in Johor Bahru, Malaysia

We are in need of Site Manager to be base in Johor Bahru, Malaysia, for the Rapid Project, project duration is expected to be completed in 3 years times

Scope of Responsibilities

Directs the overall site management team, organization and operations. Executes a project within schedule parameters whilst maintaining client satisfaction and international standards of safety and quality.

Primary Duties
•Responsible for representing Company on site and liaising with client, subcontractors and local government officials.
•Execute the project in line with the delivery schedule, contract specifications and conditions.
•Develop project organization chart and mobilization schedule based on standard models, using standard job descriptions and titles. Due cognizance must be given to capacity of each individual when allocating work responsibilities.
•Monitor day to day activities through weekly, monthly and quarterly progress meetings of
•Company staff, subcontractors, JV partners and client to facilitate achievement of targets.
•Slippages and backlogs will be identified and action plans formulated to keep the project on schedule.
•Ensure adherence to the project and corporate Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) procedures and maintain a safe working environment.
•Ensure adherence to project and corporate quality assurance policies and procedures.
•Conduct periodic internal quality audits for each discipline to verify the implementation of the quality management system.
•Support the subcontractors and vendors by removing impediments to progress, assisting in the development of their schedules and work sequence, and ensuring that they have the materials, engineering deliverables, tools and resources required to complete their activities within the required time frames.
•Implement Management of Change actions for all events that can potentially lead to a change in the project cost or schedule.
•Ensures full participation of construction personnel in all project model and constructability reviews.
•Ensure appropriate facilities are provided to employees such as travel, visas, special permits etc.
•Manage construction and maintenance of temporary facilities, and ensure well-being of the employees.
•Accountable per contract for the completion and handing over of the completed works to client.
•Develop and execute the Construction Management Team (CMT) staffing plan and select the department leaders e.g. construction manager/general superintendent, construction/field engineering manager, HSSE Manager, etc.
•Responsible for developing and implementing the Construction Execution Plan (CEP) and construction execution strategy, contributing to the contracting strategy and plan, field budget and schedule. Ensure that all site activities are carried out in adherence to these.
•Implement the standardized construction work processes, procedures and systems, making project specific if required, and ensuring that quality system cross references these with ITR’s.
•Manage the site team creating an atmosphere of co-operation and oneness. Foster role clarity, involvement and team spirit to facilitate smooth execution of the project.
•Perform any other related duties and responsibilities as required by the Project Director to enable timely, cost effective and safe completion of work to the required quality.
•Develop the staff so that every supervisory position has a deputy able to stand in for absences and rotational leaves. Identify individuals with capacity for promotion and coordinate training of these by OD.
•Generate project specific KPI’s for quality and construction activities, and for all individuals in management positions

Minimum Requirement
•10+ years experience in direct hire construction
•15+ years experience in the oil & gas industry
•Experience working with an international E&C company
•Excellent leadership and communications skills
•Relevant degree or diploma from an accredited college or university.
•Preference will be given to candidates who meet the following criteria:
•Experience working in the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS/FSU), Middle East, and/or North Africa is an added advantage.
•Prior experience working with a diverse international workforce

Regulatory Officer needed is Johor Bahru, Malaysia

We are urgently in need of Regulatory Officer to work for the Rapid Project at Johor Bahru, Malaysia.

Contract and Project Duration: 3 Years

Main Responsibilities

Maintain positive relationships with the Government and Ministries and ensure the Company’s awareness of national and local legislation that will affect business activities.
Attend to Ministries and Government Agencies requests for information.
Ensure that the Company regulatory renews and receive it direct license.
Be responsible for Industrial relation matters pertaining to Company.
Act on all business and certification requirements and ensure validity by working with other departments.
Other tasks/projects as assigned by the Management.

Requirements:

Degree in any discipline.

At least 4 to 5 years of relevant experiences, preferably from Refinery, Petrochemical or Oil & Gas Industry.
Excellent in written or oral communication.
Analytical with problem solving skills.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.

HSSE Manager in Johor Bahru, Malaysia

We are urgently in need of HSSE Manager to work for the Rapid Project at Johor Bahru, Malaysia.

Contract and Project Duration: 3 Years

Main Responsibilities

Review and Audit EPCI HSSE Program against Company requirement.
Managing the development and implementation of the Company and tender pre-qualification and contractor management process.
Integrate Project HSE MS Plan against integration of contractor system with construction HSE Manual.
Managing the development of key stakeholder communication and mutual benefit plans including affected community, industry and relevant authority representatives.
Developing and leading programmatic safety reviews, project risk profiling, safety case development and continuous improvement processes with peers and external parties.
Managing leading KPI and accountabilities processes including accident/incident reporting, audit and inspection, root cause analysis and project performance. Leading, coaching and managing a team of HSE professionals on the ground in effective surveillance and intervention methods
Feeding project review results into corporate policies and ensuring that best practice techniques and technology is utilized where practicable.

Degree in any discipline.
On Shore Experience
10 years above in experience (refinery or petrochemical)
