Technical Superintendent
Job Duties:
Coordinate all technical ship management aspects for a group of ships
Communicate with all organisations that might have impact on the quality of the vessels’ operations
Act as day-to-day contact point between the shore organisation and vessels in all technical matters, including maintenance, operations, purchase, administrative and manning
Guarantee and claims issues, vessel inspection and reporting, preparation and supervision of dry-dockings/ repairs, budgeting and cost control, coordination with Class/ Authorities and quality reporting
Job Requirements
Class 1 Certificate of Competency (Engine)
Sailing Experience as Chief Engineer on foreign going vessels.
Experience on bunker barges
Salary Range:
Salary will commensurate based on qualifications and experience
