Topside Process Design Engineer (Process Mechanical, Process Piping and Process Electrical)

Responsibilities:

Study and understand requirements for clients' FPSO topside modules specifications and drawings (P&IDs, PFDs & GAs)Generate material-take-off information (steel, piping, and electrical cabling quantities, instrument list and types of materials) to assist cost estimators in pricing the modules' fabricationPoint out inaccuracy, inconsistency and incompleteness of information for preparation of appropriate questionnairesFurther develop and produce detailed basic design and engineering specifications generated from clients for tender submissionsParticipate and contribute in safety workshops, hazop / hazid workshop, FMEA / FMECA workshopsDiscuss and exchange ideas with clients' topside engineers and able to propose possible solutions to design challenges for optimization of designsGenerate designs that suit production systems for shipyardEnsure completeness of equipment supply to help reduce the risks of exposure to future change order claims

Requirements:

Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in a similar industryKnowledge on the relevant topside modules design rules and regulations such as, North Sea Requirements, Norsok Rules, British Health case study would be an added advantageHas knowledge on typical topside systems vamely, power generation & distribution, gas compression, flaring, offloading, etc.Has interpersonal skill for dealing with topside equipment vendors

Mechanical (R&D / Design) Engineer

Responsibilities:

Production process study and new product development in shipbuilding and offshore engineeringConduct study on shipyard production process and propose improvements in terms of productivity and safetyDesign customized equipments for offshore structure based on owner and yard requirementsDevelop conceptual design, 3D models, fabrication drawings and reports and etc

Requirement:
