Flexible Pipeline Engineer

>5 years experiences as Pipeline Engineer.
Experienced in FPSO preferred
PRIMARY FUNCTION – Accountable that:
• Responsible for the integrity of flexible pipe design engineering performed
• Increasing the general awareness of flexible pipeline engineering
• Flexible pipeline engineering resourcing to meet project/tender requirements
• Management, defense, and support of pipeline engineering resources.
• Training of group members.
• Providing support to project teams (technical and management).
• Providing support to business development (technical and management).
• Providing support to tendering (technical and management).
• Continual improvement of pipeline engineering systems and procedures.
• Offshore Assistance during Flexible Pipe Installation and Pre-commissioning activities onboard Installation Vessels and/or FPSO may be requested.
DUTIES
ACTIVITY RESULT
• Verify engineering design of flexibles and equipment in projects and tenders by direct supervision and through approval of key engineering documents.
• Technical integrity of the flexible engineering activities in projects and tenders.
• Perform design reviews on flexible engineering design in projects and tenders
• Disseminate the technical information in the Design Team and provide technical guidance on projects and tenders.
• Act as the recognized interface between Project Engineering Design and Client
• Transfer of expertise on flexible pipes
• Ensure that a current library of design rules/ procedures/programs is maintained and engineers are kept informed of any modifications.
• Consolidation of flexible design knowledge
